About This Publication

I love cards. I love the variety the hobby provides in how you approach it both as a collector and from a financial perspective.

I’m also a data nut and a nerd. I built whuppit when I outgrew spreadsheets. And I’m building lotsnap as I help my kids learn how to start selling.

This publication gets to be a bit of a marriage of all of the above as I write about the hobby, grading, collecting, and the business side of things—both as a seller and at times from the perspective of trying to build apps for collectors.

It’s a fun hobby and one of the few hobby’s out there that, if approached with care and intent, can actually be sustainable and even profitable. And I don’t mean profitable in the over-the-top hype pump and dump kind of way, but in a way that’s sustainable and beneficial for everyone.

My hope is that whether you want to build your collection without breaking the bank, use cards as a fun way to generate side income, or make cards your primary form of business, the content here will be helpful.
